Hey Claw fans, a major milestone in our journey to bring our animated cartoon, The Nine Lives of Claw® to life is upon us. The Nine Lives of Claw Purrmieres Sunday, February 21st via red carpet at Chagrin Cinemas. Many of our Kickstarter Supporters and media will be there fur all the fun. The Nine Lives of Claw is an animated cartoon that works because it probably shouldn't. It's a cat and mouse on the same side. They shouldn't get along and well, most of the time they don't. That's when it's really funny.
We've got Claw, voiced by the brilliant Max Osinski --our sarcastic, lazy and full-of-himself hero who wishes the bad guys would just come to him-- His sidekick Edison voiced by Christopher Knights of Madagascar fame -- who is yes, a genius lab mouse who is filled with nerves and anxiety-- Purrfessor Purrnelope voiced by wonderful Jessy Schram -- who is in charge of Anonymous Labs and may very well be Claw's biggest weakness.
Purrnelope and Edison have a huge task at hand when the series begins...to find ways to get more clean water for the city of Anonymous. Currently water is scarce and what is left has been stockpiled by MUTT. (Malicious, Urban, Thugs and Thieves).The Leader of MUTT is Naz-T voiced by the legendary Jim Cummings -- and his name fits him very well. He has a major bone to pick with the city for wronging him and he plans to get rich from holding on to their water. Other members of MUTT are the sinister Roadkill and the bumbling, dimwitted and cuddly Fleaddipp. Both are voiced by the hilarious Rafi Silver. Fleadipp is lots of comic relief for the show.
We call this show Action-Packed Comedy because through every twist and turn there are mishaps and struggles that are just too funny. The pilot was directed by Alessandro Ongaro.
One of the things that makes this show so irresistible to kids is the vehicles and gadgets Edison has created for Claw. Look at some of these:
The Catfish Aquajet™ is another example of Edison's ingenuity. Wherever danger may be, even in oceans anywhere in the world, they can go where help is needed. Even though Claw really hates getting wet.
